Time Diver

~10th grade~ As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Some of the most significant messages people deliver to one another often come in just three words. Not long ago I heard a story about a young man and an old preacher. The young man had lost his job and didn't know which way to turn. So he went to see the old preacher. Pacing about the preacher's study, the young man ranted about his problem. Finally he clenched his fist and shouted, "I've begged God to say something to help me, preacher, why doesn't God answer?"

The boy walked along the ocean shore . . . trying not to stray. He looked up to his father saying, "Dad, I want to play." His father looked upon him, with love showing in his eyes. "Do what you want to, my son . . . but do not leave my side."

One day I dug a little hole, and put my hurt inside I thought that I could just forget I'd put it there to hide. But that little hurt began to grow, I covered it every day I couldn't leave it and go on It seemed the price I had to pay.

If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I'm a Healer? If you never went through difficulties, how would you know that I'm a Deliverer? If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

Years ago a farmer owned land along the Atlantic seacoast.  He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic. They dreaded the awful storms that raged across the Atlantic, wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops. As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received a steady stream of refusals.   Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached the farmer. "Are you a good farmhand?" the farmer asked him.  "Well, I can sleep when the wind blows," answered the little man. Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help, hired him.

I remember reading a story once about a man who was exploring some caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled up some clay and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, to pass the time, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could throw.

An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice." 1. Pray 2. Go to bed on time. 3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

Ketika ia merasa lapar atau lelah, dia tidak berhenti karena dia sangat ingin memperoleh wilayah sebanyak mungkin.

I was watching some little kids play soccer. These kids were only five or six years old, but they were playing a real game - - a serious game _ two teams, complete with coaches, uniforms, and parents. I didn't know any of them, so I was able to enjoy the game without the distraction of being anxious about winning or losing - I wished the parents and coaches could have done the same.

They tell the story of a mountain climber, who desperate to conquer the Aconcagua, initiated his climb after years of preparation. But he wanted the glory to himself, therefore, he went up alone. He started climbing and it was becoming later, and later. He did not prepare for camping but decided to keep on going. Soon it got dark... Night fell with heaviness at a very high altitude. Visibility was zero. Everything was black. There was no moon, and the stars were covered by clouds. As he was climbing a ridge at about 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell. Falling rapidly he could only see blotches of darkness that passed. He felt a terrible sensation of being sucked in by gravity.

Gambar tersebut merupakan contoh betapa kreatif nya orang Indonesia, ahli dalam hal me-modifikasi. Mungkin ada tujuan baik dari modifikasi yang dilakukan, supaya menjadi keunikan tersendiri bagi lokasi tersebut atau sekedar menghibur orang yang kebetulan lewat? Ah tidak, iseng ya tetap iseng... Tidak ada justifikasi untuk iseng dan merusak... Tapi tetap saja lucu untuk dibaca... "ember ayaan"... hahahaha... :)

Setelah sejenak utak atik aplikasi Blogger untuk Android, ada satu hal yang mengganggu... tapi tidak terlalu fatal juga. Pada saat view post, jika tidak hati hati dan tidak sengaja menyentuh post maka postingan akan dianggap baru pada saat di publish... maka time line dari blog akan berubah. Tidak terlalu parah, tapi cukup mengganggu juga. *Catatan Pribadi* Analisa lanjutan : setelah saya intip di blog ternyata tanggal post tidak berubah... tapi post yang sudah tidak sengaja "di edit" tampil di blog home. Mungkin dia hanya menunjukkan post mana yang aru di tulis atau di edit... nice...

Hari ini tepat 1 tahun peringatan hari lamaran saya, hehehe.... Masih ingat waktu itu ramai dari keluarga saya meluncur kerumah istri, disambut dengan meriah oleh keluarga istri... Proses pembicaraan pun terjadi dan lamaran kami diterima... YES!!! Sungguh pengalaman yang luar biasa.... Harusnya ada fotonya nih, tapi menyusul aja...
